Vivek Bansal, MD, PhD, is a board-certified radiologist at Kelsey-Seybold. After earning his Doctor of Philosophy at Rice University in Houston, Dr. Bansal obtained his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in 2006. He remained at Baylor College of Medicine to complete his Radiology residency in 2012. Dr. Bansal then completed a fellowship in Neuroradiology at Emory University School of Medicine in 2013. He joined Kelsey-Seybold’s Radiology department in August 2024.

Inspired by his parents to enter the medical field, Dr. Bansal treats patients as part of care teams, diagnosing diseases of the brain, spine, head, and neck. His clinical interests include stroke and neurovascular disease, dementia, and movement disorders. In his practice, Dr. Bansal most enjoys the ability to work with other physicians in improving the lives of patients.
