Nidia M. Perez, MD, MPH, completed her medical degree at the American University Medical School in 2007 in Nicaragua. She went on to complete her Master of Public Health at the University of New England in Maine in 2018. She completed her Family Medicine residency in 2022 at the McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), and she completed a geriatric fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston (UTMB) in 2023.
She is board certified in Family Medicine and fluent in English and Spanish. Dr. Perez Joined Kelsey-Seybold in July 2023.

To assist with creating presentation material, screening, and monitoring of patients for the Preventable trial. The purpose of this trial is to learn if taking a statin could help older adults live healthier for a longer period by preventing dementia, disability, or heart disease.
