Dr. Manpreet Mangat is a board-certified physician specializing in Pulmonary Medicine. She is certified in Pulmonary Medicine and in Critical Care Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She earned her Doctor of Medicine in 2003 at BJ Medical College in Ahmedabad, India, and completed her residency in Internal Medicine in 2008 at St. Agnes Healthcare in Baltimore, Md. In 2011, Dr. Mangat completed fellowship training in Pulmonary Critical Care at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, Ill.
Dr. Mangat’s experience includes serving in various roles at St. Luke’s Health, most recently as a Pulmonary and Critical Care physician and chief of staff at St. Luke’s Health – Sugar Land. Dr. Mangat joined Kelsey Seybold in August 2022.

Dr. Mangat enjoys spending time with her husband and children, running, and baking.
Fun Facts
The best advice Dr. Mangat has received is “Treat others the way you want to be treated.”
The most interesting place she has visited is the Glenfinnan Viaduct, where she took the train seen in the “Harry Potter” series up to the Scottish Highlands.
Not everyone knows this about Dr. Mangat, but she’s hoping to run a half marathon next year. She also loves to bake and hopes to take professional classes sometime in the future. Her guilty pleasure is croissants.
As a child, she wanted to be a professional pastry chef. She still bakes, but only on weekends.
