Karthika Amaranathan, MD, earned her Bachelor of Science in biochemistry in 2014 from Temple University in Philadelphia. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine degree in 2018 from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine, also at Temple University. Dr. Amaranathan joined Kelsey-Seybold in July 2024.

As a diagnostic radiologist, Dr. Amaranathan sees patients for general radiology and breast imaging, including screening, detection, diagnosis, and treatment of breast cancer. She is especially interested in ensuring equity of access to breast cancer screening.
