Dr. Eric Rachlin is a fellowship-trained bariatric surgeon. He earned his Bachelor of Science in neurobiology from The University of Texas at Austin in 2009, where he graduated magna cum laude. He earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 2015.

He completed his General Surgery residency in 2020 at Baylor College of Medicine. He completed his Minimally Invasive Surgery and Bariatric Surgery fellowship at Memorial Hermann Memorial City in Houston in 2021.

Dr. Rachlin enjoys spending time with his daughters, walking his dogs, playing golf, watching Houston professional sports, and reading.

Fun Facts

Not everyone knows this about Dr. Rachlin, but he taught high school science and coached girls varsity soccer for two years before going to medical school.

His guilty pleasure is watching old-school Adam Sandler movies.
